The ArtsWe believe the Arts to be an important area in our curriculum. We encourage this involvement in several ways:- We celebrate Harvest, Easter and Christmas in the form of singing, dancing and drama, which range from individual class pieces to full school musical productions. Parents, families and friends are invited into school to take part in our celebrations. Artists are also invited into school to share their talents with the children. These have included musicians, dancers from different cultures, painters, sculptors and crafts people of varying kinds. Some very interesting work has resulted from these visits. As a result of all the very good art work we provide in school we were awarded our Arts Mark in 2006. |
